Illustration and Photoshop are just behemoths and clunky compared to the lighter-weight Fireworks. Illustrator is what I've had to switch to, but I'm already missing a LOT of the features from Fireworks. because it was a great hybrid between the vector world of Illustrator, yet had the tools from the bitmap world of Photoshop such as the magic wand. so I guess we've finally reached the end of the road for Fireworks. That's when the conversation ended because they don't support Fireworks anymore. Yet Fireworks continues to report I'm using it on 2 PCs. Since I'd already done that, they verified that my Creative Cloud subscription is only licensed to one PC. I too called Adobe Support as per your earlier suggestion, Nancy, and they said there was no other activation count separate from the Creative Cloud subscription package, and that I could reset that count thru the Adobe website. "I've already signed out." - Choosing this just flashes the exact same box back up and doesn't let you proceed. "Sign me out of other computers so I can sign in here" - a new box pops up that says our browser is not up to date and to update that before proceeding. When we select an option from the choices we get the following. it's when it comes time to authorize it that we run into "You've installed this on two computers already" and it won't let us past it. But if this is the case, then only Adobe can fix this issue with a new patch. and it's built on Chromium (the same foundation as Google's Chrome browser.) So Adobe's licensing is probably mis-detecting Edge as Chrome and crashing itself out thinking it's out of date. Microsoft Edge is what Windows 11 includes. and discontinued browser as of Windows 11. The only thing I can think of is Adobe has hard coded the licensing to work ONLY with Internet Explorer 11. I've also tried the registry values that Adobe suggests we add to fix the "your browser isn't up to date" prompt. I've uninstalled Fireworks CS6 thru Creative Cloud and downloaded the offline installer and put it on that way. I've run the Adobe Cleaner app and cleaned Fireworks CS6 off. I've tried signing out and back in of the Creative Cloud app with my Adobe ID. I've clicked Managed Activated Devices, which just takes you to the webpage. and when you select option 2 (I've already signed out), it just flashes and brings up the same 2 choices. When you select option 1 (Sign me out), you get the "You're not updated" dialog that says you need to update your browser first.

stating I've already activated it on two PCs. Yet when I run Fireworks CS6, it brings up the exact same window above. I have deactivated the old computer in the /activated-devices website and it now only lists the one new Windows 11 PC there. I just purchased a new PC that came with Windows 11. I am also now having this issue with Fireworks CS6 thinking there needs to be an update.
